Jeffrey Clayton O'Rourke, 53, of Bothell, Washington, died suddenly on Thursday, August 19, 2010, at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland, Washington. Born June 24, 1957, in San Francisco, Jeff and his siblings were raised in Jefferson City where he graduated from Jefferson City High School in 1975. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1980 and in 1984 earned his Master's degree from San Diego State University. Jeff worked as a Data Program Manager for Quantum, in Seattle. He is the beloved husband of wife, Lissa Chan, and father of son, Jered, (14) and daughter, Jalin (11). Jeff is survived by three brothers and one sister: Dan of Jefferson City; Steve of St. Louis; Mike of Dallas; and Cheryl Merico of Miami. He has five nephews and six nieces. Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, John C. (Jack) O'Rourke, and Doris Ann (Roling) O'Rourke of Jefferson City. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 28, 2010, at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills Cemetery, Lynnwood, Washington, 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. (floralhillslynnwood.com). Burial will be on Monday, August 30, at Azalea Chapel Mausoleum, Seattle, at noon. In lieu of flowers, gifts are gratefully accepted on behalf of Jeff's children in the name of Lissa Chan.
