Marvin Eason

Marvin R. Eason, 66, of Kansas City, Mo., passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2010, at home surrounded by loved ones. Marvin was the son of the late John and Lillian Eason and was preceded in death by his sister, Pamela A. Eason. He was a faithful member of St. Augustine Episcopal Church in Kansas City, Mo., a graduate of Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Mo., and a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. His professional career included service as an advisor to top local and national elected officials and most recently as an official with the State of Md. Marvin is survived by his wife, Carol A. Eason of Laurel, Md..; daughter, Dayna C. Cooper of Baltimore, Md.; mother-in-law, Miller Naylor of Ripley, Miss.; goddaughter, Tiffany Hennings of St. Louis, Mo.; godson, Marcus Hazley of Kansas City, Mo. and a host of family and friends. Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 28, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 2732 Benton Blvd., Kansas City, Mo. The repast will be immediately following the service.
