Delores J. (Coon) Caselman, 80, Independence, Mo., formerly of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, August 16, 2010, at Centerpoint Medical Center. Delores was born January 3, 1930, at Stewartsville, Mo., the daughter of Francis Marion and Marie (Holmes) Berryman. She was employed throughout the 1960's with Ramada as a Convention Coordinator. Delores enjoyed watching NASCAR, playing dice, seeing Fred and Bill (The Geese) and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her sons, Mitch (Caselman) Coon of Blue Springs, Mark Coon and his wife Cathy of Independence, and David Coon of Branson; step-children, Debbie Caselman of California, Dyana Caselman of Hawaii, Robin Caselman of North Dakota, and Kelly Caselman and his wife Kara of New Mexico; sister, Marilyn Altman of Scottsdale, Ariz.; one brother, Francis Berryman and his wife Avanelle of Independence; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews and numerous step- grandchildren, step-great- grandchildren, step-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Caselman in 2008, and her parents. Graveside inurnment services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 19, 2010, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, Mo.
