Helen B. Hunziker, 78, of Centertown, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at Moniteau Care Center in California. Helen was born on April 2, 1932, in Maries County, the daughter of Roy and Sylvia (Imboden) Brewer, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married in Eldon, on December 14, 1973, to B. H. Hunziker, who preceded her in death on July 6, 2009. She worked as a Nurse's Aide at Capital Region Medical Center, from where she retired after 25 years of service. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church near Marion, and enjoyed quilting and being with her family. She was a graduate of Belle High School. Survivors include: one daughter, Tammie Plaster, and husband Darrell of Centertown; one grandson, Jonathan Plaster and wife Rachel of California; one brother, Leslie Brewer of Colo.; two sisters, Pauline Brumble of Dixon, and Linda Tinsley of Marionville; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held today from 5:00 p.m. n 7:00 p.m. at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church near Marion. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Josh Crider. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to New Hope Baptist Church, c/o Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, 100 S. Oak, California, MO 65018. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California.
