Sue Keilholz, 75, of Rocky Mount, passed away Monday, August 2, 2010, at the Eldon Nursing and Rehab in Eldon. On October 8, 1934, she was born in Chicago, Ill., to the late Thomas J. and Jeanette "Babe" (Hauser) Rex. On September 17, 1955, she was married in St. Louis to Robert Keilholz Sr., who survives of the home. She was a member of the Eldon Garden Club. She enjoyed quilting with the ladies of Sacred Heart and was active in Cursillo. She was also a member of the Show Me Boot Scooters in Jefferson City and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eldon. Others that survive include: three daughters, Ann Riley of Fenton, Jean Christensen of Grays Lake, Ill., and Dorothy Wanko of Spring, Texas; two sons, Bob Keilholz Jr. of Merram, Kan. and Thomas Keilholz of Sullivan; eight grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2010, from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, with a Rosary being prayed at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 6, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Eldon with Rev. Frederick Elskamp officiating. Interment will be on Friday, August 6, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. at Resurrection Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorials for Sue are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association, Eldon Nursing and Rehab, or Preferred Hospice of Central Missouri.
