Lois Eileen Martin, 82, of Jefferson City, died Monday, August 2, 2010, at St. Mary's Health Center. She was born on August 7, 1927, in Carterville, the daughter of the late Perry Francis and Lulu Opal Snyder Bundy. She was united in marriage on April 13, 1946, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Clyde B Martin, who preceded her in death on May 15, 1994. A homemaker all her life, Lois worked as a secretary for Missouri Department of Revenue, Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Division, Missouri House of Representatives, and Central Missouri Adjustment, where she retired in 1978. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, charter member of Missouri State Genealogical Association, Cole County Historical Society, and St. Mary's Auxiliary where she also volunteered. Survivors include: one daughter-in-law, Lana Martin of Jefferson City; two grandsons, Craig (Katie) Martin of St. Louis; Eric (Susan) Martin of Dallas, Texas; one great-grandson, Trevor Martin; and one brother, Donald (Carol) Bundy of Blue Springs. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Martin; and a brother, Robert Bundy. Visitation will be Wendesday between 10-11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4618 Henwick Lane, Jefferson City. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at the church, with Bishop Karl C. Hubbard officiating. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
