Brian A. "Kip" Williams, 46, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, August 1, 2010, at his home. He was born June 10, 1964, in Jefferson City, a son of Leo F. and Mary Lou Schaefer Williams, both deceased. He attended St. Peter Catholic School and was a 1982 graduate of Helias High School, both in Jefferson City, and a graduate from the University of Missouri - Rolla with a degree in Engineering. Brian worked for the Missouri Department of Transportation his entire career, working in Marshall, Macon, Kirksville and for the last several years in Jefferson City. He was a member of the Phi Kappa Theta fraternity and was avid sports fan, especially when it came to playing golf and the St. Louis Cardinals. Survivors include: one sister, Diana Boillot and husband Ben of Jefferson City; one brother, Bill Williams and wife Lanie of Wardsville; three nephews; and numerous other relatives and friends. Friends will be received from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, where a prayer service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 5, 2010, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Jefferson City, with Msgr. David D. Cox officiating. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Parish Cemetery, Loose Creek. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Samaritan Center.
