Mrs. Ella Dee Crow, age 83 years, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Thursday, April 29, 2010, at the Capital Region Medical Center. Dee was born January 30, 1927, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., the daughter of James Luther and Gertrude Pearl Borneman Green. She was married on February 16, 1945, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., to Alfred Glen Crow, who preceded her in death on May 21, 1981. A resident of the Jefferson City area for the past 45 years, Dee graduated from Cape Girardeau High School. A lifelong homemaker, she had been employed with Blattner Clothing Store for a brief period of time. Dee was a member of Concord Baptist Church and she enjoyed bowling. Survivors include: two sons, Richard Glen Crow and his wife Becky of Cape Girardeau, Mo. and James Robert Crow and his wife Donna of Holts Summit, Mo.; one daughter, Carol Susanne Young and her husband Tim of Jefferson City, Mo.; one sister, Mary Sue Oldham and her husband Glenn of Jackson, Mo.; one brother, Jay Green and his wife Mabel of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; six grandchildren, five great- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, Anna Marie Eddleman, and two brothers, Norvel Green and Gene Green. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 3, 2010, in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend Peter Livingston and the Reverend Dr. Doyle Sager officiating. Interment will be at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. Monday.
