Elizabeth Verdot

Elizabeth "Beth" Ann Verdot, 47, of Centertown, Missouri, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010, at St. Mary's Health Center. She was born February 12, 1963, in Franklin, Indiana, a daughter of John A. and June M. (Asher) Riegel. She was a 1981 graduate of Jefferson City High School. She was married to Mark Gerlach, who preceded her in death. On May 6, 2002, she was united in marriage in Lohman, to Arthur L. Verdot, who survives at their home. She worked for Vignola Hospitality and the Missouri Highway Patrol. She also worked for Capital Speedway, and Jamison Permit. She enjoyed riding horses, watching Cardinal baseball, was an avid NASCAR and local stock car racing fan. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her two grandchildren. She is also survived by her parents: John and June Riegel of St. Martins; two sons: Mark Gerlach Jr. (wife Julie) of Centertown; Matt Gerlach of Russellville; one sister: Terri Vignola (husband Jim) of Jefferson City; two grandchildren: Taylor and Landon Gerlach. Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home, where a Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Charity of the Donor's Choice.
