Victoria Uballez

Victoria "Sis" Kaiser Uballez, age 92, of La Habra, Calif., formerly of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, April 5, 2010, at her home. She and twin brother, Victor Kaiser, were born December 13, 1917, in Jefferson City, children of August and Antonia Loesch Kaiser. She was united in marriage in 1946 to John Uballez in the state of California. He preceded her in death in 2005. Victoria was a homemaker and mother who loved family and friends, working in her garden, and cooking for large family gatherings. Victoria is survived by one son, Larry Uballez and wife Bobbie of Jefferson City; five daughters, Gloria Uballez of Highland, Calif., Ginger Soria of Redondo Beach, Calif., Sylvia Martinez and husband Rudy of La Mirada, Calif., and Judy Negron and Lorraine Hernandez; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John, one infant daughter, seven sisters, and two brothers. Private funeral services and burial were held April 14, 2010 at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Rowland Heights, Calif. Memorials are suggested to the American Alzheimer Association.
