Bryan Holohan

Bryan Matthew Holohan, 36, of Jefferson City, died Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on September 8, 1973, in Jefferson City, the son of Jimmy (Beverly) Dee Holohan, of Phoenix, Arizona and Elizabeth Ann (Dan) Claypool, of Holts Summit. Bryan was a 1991 graduate of Plano East High School, Plano, Texas, and a 2001 graduate of the University of Missouri Police Academy. Bryan was a Sergeant with the Holts Summit Police Department and later a police clerk with the department. Bryan was the police resource officer for North School. He also participated in the Shop-With-A-Cop program each year during the holidays. He enjoyed cats, music, movies, electronics, and intellectual challenges. Survivors include: his parents; one sister: Carrie Deann Holohan of Holts Summit; a half-brother: Roland Holohan of Moberly; a half-sister: Rhonda Hudson of Higbee; four nieces and nephews: Grayden Michael Silvey, Ryan Hudson, Ross Hudson, Renee Hudson; one aunt: Frieda Holohan and her family; and cousins: Bill and Marcia Ketcham and their son Vincent. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Goldie and Van Ketcham; and Charles Gail and Mary Romaine Holohan. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, April 16, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Nilges officiating. Visitation will be 12 Noon-1 p.m. Friday, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Entombment will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 19, at Riverview Cemetery with police honors. Memorials are suggested to the Missouri River Hospice, 1440 Aaron Court, Jefferson City, MO 65109.
