Mrs. Phyllis Jeanne Brodhacker, age 83 years, of Columbia, Mo., a former Jefferson City resident, died Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at the Columbia Manor Care Center. Jeanne was born December 16, 1926 in Fresno, Calif., the daughter of John and Opal Weber Wilkerson. She was married on August 26, 1944 in San Francisco, Calif., to Joseph L. Brodhacker, who preceded her in death on July 1, 1989. Jeanne was employed with Jefferson City Distributors for over 25 years until her retirement in 1984. Survivors include: three sons, Jon J. Brodhacker and his wife Sharon of Westminster, Colo., Joe Brodhacker and his wife Cindy of Columbia, Mo., and David D. Brodhacker and his wife Tracy of San Antonio, Texas; one daughter, Linda L. Gash and her husband Jim of Columbia, Mo.; 10 grandchildren, Jeanie Fullerton, Jon G. Brodhacker, Molly Brodhacker, Austin Brodhacker, Brent Gash, Breanna Breuer, Shannon Brodhacker, Joey Brodhacker, Ryan Brodhacker, and Jess Brodhacker; and one great- grandchild, Gunnar Fullerton. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one son, Fred J. Brodhacker. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Friday, April 9, 2010, in the Freeman Chapel with the Reverend Richard Ramsey officiating. Interment will be at Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at Freeman Mortuary from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. Friday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Disabled American Veterans.
