Katherine Phillips

Katherine Cordes Phillips, 92, of Brazito, passed away Monday, March 29, 2010, at her home. She was born February 11, 1918, in Meade, Kansas, the daughter of Lennie and Eliza Krisle. She was united in marriage to Don Cordes, whom preceded her in death in 1962. She married Dr. Theodore Phillips on June 6, 1964, and he preceded her in death in 1996. Katherine attended Meade High School. She was employed with the United Public School District. She worked at the Interstate United Corporation at the Breech Academy. She had lived in the Jefferson City area for the last 20 years. She was preceded in death by her son: Larry D. Cordes. She leaves her daughter: Janice Lehman (Sylvester) of Jefferson City; a daughter-in-law: Sandra Cordes of Springfield; four granddaughters; one grandson; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and two step-grandchildren.
