M.S. Cross Country: Blackhawk Invitational

WARRENTON, Mo. - Thomas Jefferson placed third in girls and second in boys at the Blackhawk Invitational on Tuesday.

Wentzville Frontier finished first in the girls team standings with 44 points. Wentzville South had 49 and Thomas Jefferson finished with 58 points.

Individually, Yumia Robben finished fifth at 10:08, Alyson Linhardt sixth at 10:12, Carrington Stilabower 11th at 10:44, Elizabeth Dunn finished 19th in 11:06 and Gwyn DeFeo finished 23rd at 11:20.

Wentzville South won convincingly in boys with 29 points. Thomas Jefferson ended with 49 points and Mexico had 108 points.

Ethan Demarest finished third in 8:57 to lead Thomas Jefferson. Braden Voss was fourth in 9:00, Ben Lear 10th in 9:26, Brock Schofield 15th in 9:33, Peyton Vogt 17th in 9:34 and Colin Voss 20th in 9:40.

The Lewis and Clark girls finished seventh at the meet, while the boys team came in eighth place.

Kyndel Bickel led the Lewis and Clark girls with a 21st place finish in 11:22, followed by Tassie Scott in 25th place in 12:04. Other Lewis and Clark runners include Savanna Huckstep at 37th in 12:49, Sophia Bruce at 41st in 13:15, Daisia White at 44th in 13:30 and Samantha Hidlebaugh at 46th in 13:48.

Dylan Dyer led the Lewis and Clark boys, placing 25th in 10:00. Fabian Woodard-Sidney was 42nd in 10:50, Jacob Davenport was 51st in 11:13, Hobert Frohman was 53rd in 11:19, Nikolas Strawderman was 57th in 11:35, Parker Noble was 59th in 11:36 and Luke Louraine was 62nd in 11:49.
