Prep Baseball: Fatima 12, Russellville 2

RUSSELLVILLE, Mo. - The Fatima Comets picked up a 12-2 win in five innings against the Russellville Indians on Friday in Show-Me Conference play.

Fatima's Josef Keilholz was the winning pitcher, allowing two earned runs on five hits with one walk and seven strikeouts in four innings. He also had two hits and one RBI at the plate.

Jonathon Backes had two hits and four RBI, including a three-run home run in the third inning for the Comets. Tyler Wolfe added two hits and one RBI.

Cory Minor took the loss for Russellville. He pitched three innings and gave up six runs on seven hits and walked two batters.

Tyler Voss, Chandler Miller and Braden Hickey each had one hit for the Indians. Hickey also had one RBI.

Fatima (4-1) plays Monday at Southern Boone. Russellville (2-1) returns to action today, hosting Versailles at 11 a.m. and Van-Far at 3:30 p.m.
