Missouri softball blanked at Texas A&M

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Missouri softball was shutout 8-0 by No. 7 Texas A&M in five innings Friday night.

Texas A&M hit three home runs off Missouri pitcher Madi Norman (Tipton High School) for a 4-0 lead in the top of the third. The Aggies would go on to score by way of a double, sacrifice out, illegal pitch and single to mercy-rule the Tigers.

Norman (7-6) was tabbed for the loss after giving up six runs, five earned, on five hits and three walks with a pair of strikeouts in two innings. Regan Nash and Rylee Pierce had the only hits for Missouri.

Missouri (17-12, 0-3 Southeastern Conference) plays Texas A&M again at 1 p.m. today.
