The Tri Cap Club will send five qualifiers to the Missouri state tournament, along with three alternates, following last Saturday's Region D Tournament at Mexico, Mo.
State qualifiers and their placing at regionals include:
10-and-under: Nolan Laughlin, fourth.
12-and-under: Jack Lage and Carson Hayes, fourth.
14-and-under: Ethan Herigon and Nikolai Careaga, third.
State alternates for Tri Cap include Aleksandr Careaga at 10-and-under and Brady Kerperin and Zach Rackers at 12-and-under. All three wrestlers finished fifth at regionals.
The state tournament is slated for March 25-26 at St. Louis.
