IBERIA - The Iberia Rangers edged the St. Elizabeth Hornets 63-60 on Wednesday in the semifinals of the Iberia Tournament.
The Hornets took an early advantage, leading 16-14 after the first quarter. The game was tied at 29 at halftime and Iberia held a 49-47 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
Ross Struemph led St. Elizabeth with 17 points. Brady Heckemeyer and Mason Kemna scored 14 and 11, respectively.
Carter Halley scored a game-high 18 points for Iberia.
St. Elizabeth (5-8) will face either Crocker or Richland in Friday's third-place game.
