Girls Basketball: St. Elizabeth 55, Vienna 30

ST. ELIZABETH - The St. Elizabeth Lady Hornets picked up their fourth win in a row Tuesday with a 55-30 victory against the Vienna Lady Eagles.

St. Elizabeth jumped out to a 19-7 lead after one quarter and pushed their lead to 38-12 at halftime. The Lady Hornets extended the lead to 53-19 by the end of the third quarter.

Brooke Struemph led St. Elizabeth with 16 points and 11 rebounds for her eighth double-double of the season. Kayla Struemph added a game-high 13 rebounds and six assists for the Lady Hornets.

Vienna was led by Kamryn Hayes with eight points.

St. Elizabeth (8-3) will play Thursday at Chamois in Show-Me Conference action. Vienna (4-7) will play Thursday at Steelville in a Gasconade Valley Conference matchup.
