Boys Basketball: Fatima 70, St. Elizabeth 64

WESTPHALIA, Mo. - The Fatima Comets rallied in the fourth quarter, scoring 25 points during the last eight minutes to beat the St. Elizabeth Hornets 70-64 in Show-Me Conference play.

Fatima held a 17-12 lead after one quarter and was ahead 38-32 at halftime. St. Elizabeth outscored the Comets 17-7 in the third quarter to take a 49-45 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Steven Brandt led Fatima with 23 points, followed by Eric Brendel with 17 points. Jacob Crede also reached double figures with 10 points.

Ross Struemph finished with a game-high 31 points for St. Elizabeth.

Fatima (7-3) will host Iberia on Friday. St. Elizabeth (1-7) will face St. Albans at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the first round of the Calvary Lutheran Tournament.
