STURGEON - The New Bloomfield Lady Wildcats advanced to a district championship game for the fourth straight season after defeating the Sturgeon Bulldogs 57-38 on Wednesday in the Class 2 District 8 Tournament.
New Bloomfield had three players score in double figures, led by Madi Craighead's 17 points.
Kate Baxter scored 12 and Madison Love chipped in with 10.
New Bloomfield (21-6) will face either Eugene (17-10) at 7 p.m. Friday in the championship game.
