The Jefferson City Lady Jays blanked Rolla 5-0 in the semifinals of the Class 2 District 9 Tournament on Tuesday at Washington Park.
Doubles winners for the Lady Jays were Erica Dunn and Kirsten Schwandtner 8-2, Bailey Patrick and Susan Meyer 8-1, and Bailey Higgins and Olivia Hart 8-1.
Singles winners were Hart 6-0, 6-0 and Patrick 6-0, 6-1 to wrap up the match.
Top-seeded Jefferson City (14-9) will play second-seeded Lebanon (13-4) for the district championship at 4:30 p.m. today at Washington Park.
Also on Tuesday at Washington Park, Helias advanced to the Class 2 District 9 title match with a 5-0 semifinal win against School of the Osage.
Abby Dowden and Catherine Conley won their doubles match 8-0.
Megan Oliver and Liz Conley and Anna Theroff and Grace Twehous won their doubles matches 8-6 and 9-7, respectively.
In singles play, Dowden won 6-0, 6-1 while Liz Conley won 6-2, 6-2 to close out the match.
Helias (8-5) play at 4 p.m. today at Springfield Catholic (15-0) for the district title.
Springfield Catholic beat Bolivar 5-0 in the other semifinal.
