LINN - In a back and forth game Tuesday in the Linn Tournament, the Iberia Rangers made the final run to defeat the Eugene Eagles 74-71.
Iberia took a 22-20 lead after the first quarter and had a 41-37 advantage at halftime. Eugene came back to lead 57-50 heading into the fourth quarter before the Rangers outscored the Eagles 24-14 in the final eight minutes.
Tre Kempker led Eugene with 19 points. Austin Dickey scored 17 while Mason Kirkweg and Austin Englebrecht each chipped in with 10.
Iberia moves to play Newberg in today's semifinals. Eugene (5-4) will play Dixon today in the consolation semifinals.
