PILOT GROVE - The Linn Lady Wildcats were able to hold off the Stover Lady Bulldogs to win 46-44 on Friday night in the third-place game of the Pilot Grove Classic.
Linn led 10-3 after the first quarter, but Stover came back to lead 20-19 at halftime. Linn had a 32-31 edge heading into the fourth quarter.
Megan Thoenen was Linn's top scorer with 13 points. Harley Nale and Lindsey Lebel added 12 and 10, respectively.
Linn (4-1) plays Dec. 19 at Eugene.
