TIPTON - The Jamestown Lady Eagles defeated the Chamois Lady Pirates 41-38 on Friday night in the seventh-place game of the Tipton Tournament.
Samantha Nivens paced Jamestown with 14 points.
Jamestown led 14-10 after one quarter before Chamois rallied to tie it at 20 at the half. Jamestown took a 31-27 advantage into the final quarter.
Katie Brandt led Chamois with 14 points. Haley Skaggs chipped in 10 points.
Jamestown (1-3) plays Thursday at Russellville. Chamois (1-4) hosts Wellsville on Tuesday.
