Boys Basketball: Mid-Missouri Mavericks

The Mid-Missouri HomeSchool Mavericks scored 22 points in the first quarter Monday en route to a 67-51 victory against Applewood Christian.

The Mavericks led 22-10 after on quarter, 39-17 at halftime and 50-35 through three quarters.

Elijah Robinson was one of four Mavericks to reach double figures in scoring, posting a team-high 21 points while grabbing 10 rebounds for a double-double.

Cole Marks finished with 16 points, while Connor Parrish and Paul Hayes each scored 13 points.

On Nov. 19, Mid-Missouri HomeSchool won its season opener, a 73-40 decision against the Lebanon HomeSchool Rockets.

The Mavericks pulled away early with a 27-point second quarter to lead 46-24 at halftime.

Parrish finished with a team-high 15 points, while Robinson and Hayes each had 14 points. Marks also reached double figures with 12 points.

Mid-Missouri HomeSchool (3-2) will host Liberty Christian Academy on Monday.
