The Helias Lady Crusaders dropped a 5-4 decision Tuesday to the Marshall Lady Owls at the Crusader Athletic Complex.
Helias won two of the three doubles matches, with Mya Bremer and Carley Drinkard winning 8-5 and Kylie Bernskoetter and Lainie Mantle won 8-3. Jessica Cowley and Sage Bentlage lost 0-8.
Winning in singles for the Lady Crusaders were Bremer (8-3) and Mantle (8-4). Cowley, Bentlage and Drinkard each lost 2-8, while Bernskoetter lost 7-9.
Helias (5-4) plays today in the Rock Bridge Bruin Invitational.
The Lady Crusaders won Tuesday's JV match 8-3 to improve their record to 7-1.
