BOURBON - The Lighthouse Prep Lady Eagles finished first on Monday at the Warhawk Invitational, while the Eagles placed third as a team.
For the Lighthouse Prep girls, Sara Gilbert posted a time of 28:57.61, while Sophie Haight placed seventh in 32:06.29, followed by Rachel Chaney in eighth in 32:39.65. Ashton Bethards finished 15th in 38:06.44 and Madeline Henry placed 17th in a time of 39:50.39.
The Lady Eagles were the only team to post a team score in the girls standings.
The Lighthouse Prep boys posted 82 points in the team standings. St. James won with 56 points, followed by runner-up Cuba with 74 points.
Sam Gilbert led the Eagles with a time of 22:37.14 to finish in 10th place. Eden Muenks was 13th in 23:13.71, followed by Adam Crawford in 14th in 23:16.11. Philip Crawford placed 22nd in 25;04.18, Seth Carnahan was 33rd in 27:34.26 and Dylan Doss was 41st in 32:00.03.
