ASHLAND - The Jefferson City Jays defeated the Southern Boone Eagles 3-1 on Monday night.
Breck McGrail scored a pair of goals for the Jays, while Bassil Ahmed tallied the other. Ethan Blake had two assists, while Will Kuster had one.
In Monday's JV game, the Jays blanked the Eagles 5-0. Deandreis White had three goals in the victory, while Ethan Dubois and Ryan Gerke had one each. Eli Chapman and Parker Gourley combined in net in the shutout.
Jefferson City will host Rolla today at Eddie Horn Field. The JV game will start at 5 p.m., with the varsity to follow around 6:45 p.m.
