Helias enters Class 4 football rankings

The Helias Crusaders climbed into the Class 4 top 10 in the Missouri Media football rankings released Monday night.

Helias (3-0) received 11 points in the voting by nine media members from around the state to take the No. 10 spot this week. The Crusaders are the lone new team in the Class 4 rankings.

Helias (3-0) will host Cardinal Ritter (3-0) in a clash of state-ranked teams Saturday night at Ray Hentges Stadium. Ritter is the unanimous No. 1 selection in Class 2 this week.

The Blair Oaks Falcons received all nine first-place votes to remain atop the Class 3 rankings. Blair Oaks (3-0) will play Friday at Versailles (0-3) in a Tri-County Conference contest.

For the first time this season, there are unanimous selections at No. 1 in all six classes. C.B.C. is No. 1 in Class 6, with Fort Zumwalt North holding down the No. 1 spot in Class 5. Ladue is No. 1 in Class 4, while Lincoln stayed at No. 1 in Class 1. All four teams are 3-0.
