Prep Softball: Fatima 13, Russellville 2

RUSSELLVILLE - The Fatima Lady Comets won their third straight game Tuesday, defeating the Russellville Lady Indians 13-2 in Show-Me Conference play.

Fatima scored five runs in the top of the first and scored at least one run in five of the next six innings.

Londyn Stuckenschnieder hit a solo home run to lead off the second inning for the Lady Comets. She finished with a team-high three hits and scored three runs.

Ally Havens and Lauren Brandt each had two hits and three RBI for Fatima, while Molly Kloeppel had a pair of hits.

Chayce Gier was the winning pitcher, giving up one earned run on seven hits while walking two and striking out seven.

For Russellville, Erica Schweer had three of the team's seven hits.

Fatima (15-9), the No. 3 seed in the Class 2 District 10 Tournament, will face No. 2 Iberia at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Richland.

Russellville (16-7), the No. 3 seed in the Class 2 District 9 Tournament, will play No. 2 Warsaw at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in Versailles.
