Prep Baseball: Blair Oaks 10, New Bloomfield 0

NEW BLOOMFIELD, Mo. - The Blair Oaks Falcons used a four-run sixth inning Monday to wrap up a 10-0 win against the New Bloomfield Wildcats.

The game was scoreless through two innings, but the Falcons plated two runs in each of the third, fourth and fifth innings to build a 6-0 advantage.

Blair Oaks had four of its 11 hits in the sixth inning to seal the run-rule win.

Carson Wiebe and Cole Jungmeyer combined to pitch a one-hitter for Blair Oaks, each pitching three innings. Wiebe earned the win, finishing with two walks and three strikeouts, while Jungmeyer had one strikeout and retired the first six batters he faced.

Ian Nolph reached base all four times and went 2-for-2 with two singles and two RBI. Lane Libbert also had two singles and two RBI.

Blair Oaks (2-1) will play two games Saturday at Vienna. The Falcons open against Linn at noon and then play Vienna at 2 p.m.

In Monday's JV game, New Bloomfield won 6-2.
