GREEN RIDGE - Tipton senior Abby Backes scored a school-record 50 points Thursday in the Lady Cardinals' 75-26 win against the Green Ridge Lady Tigers in Kaysinger Conference play.
Brooklynn Pace added seven points and Kaylee Jones scored six points in the win.
Tipton (15-0), ranked No. 2 in Class 2, plays Monday at Otterville.
