WESTPHALIA - The Linn Lady Wildcats fell 52-42 to the Iberia Lady Rangers on Thursday in the seventh-place game of the Comet Classic.
Linn held a 9-8 lead after one quarter, but Iberia answered with a strong second quarter to take a 30-23 lead into halftime. The Lady Rangers were ahead 39-30 at the end of three quarters.
Lexie Heidbrink had a team-high 12 points for the Lady Wildcats and Lindsey Brandt finished with 10 points.
Linn (6-9) plays Monday at School of the Osage.
