WESTPHALIA, Mo. - The Blair Oaks Lady Falcons extended their winning streak to four games Wednesday by rallying to defeat the St. James Lady Tigers 40-37 in the semifinals of the Comet Classic.
St. James took a 9-7 lead after the first quarter, extended it to 19-14 by the halftime break and entered the fourth quarter up 25-21.
The Lady Falcons' offense got going in the final eight minutes to outscore the Lady Tigers 19-12 to defeat St. James for the second time this season.
Bailey Rissmiller led Blair Oaks with 11 points, while Brooke Boessen added nine points.
Blair Oaks (11-3) will face Rolla (10-2) at 8:30 p.m. today in the championship game.
Fatima (11-3) and St. James will face each other in the third-place game at 7 p.m. today.
