CALIFORNIA, Mo. - Centralia outscored St. Elizabeth 29-19 in the second half Tuesday night as the Panthers posted a 57-46 win against the Hornets in the opening round of the California Tournament.
St. Elizabeth led 13-12 after one quarter before Centralia tied the gme at 28 at the half. The Panthers took a 43-38 advantage into the fourth quarter.
Ross Struemph had 20 points for St. Elizabeth (11-3), who will face Eldon in the loser's bracket semifinals at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
