Boys Basketball: Jamestown 57, Prairie Home 36

PILOT GROVE, Mo. - The Jamestown Eagles will go for back-to-back district titles today after defeating the No. 2 seed Prairie Home Panthers 57-36 Friday night in the semifinals of the Class 1 District 9 Tournament.

This was the third meeting this season between the CCAA programs, each winning once at home in the regular season.

Jamestown took control of Friday's game early, leading 15-6 after one quarter. The Eagles maintained a 34-15 lead at halftime and 43-26 through three quarters.

The Eagles had four players score in double figures, led by Clark Rohrbach with 17 points. Christian Snyder finished with 12 points, Mackinley Sorrells added 11 points and Cole Higgins chipped in 10 points.

Kassen Lock led Prairie Home (16-10) with 14 points.

Jamestown (14-12), the No. 3 seed, will take on top-seeded Chamois (11-13) at 4 p.m. today in the championship game. In their regular-season meeting Feb. 5, Jamestown won 52-39 on the road against Chamois.
