Boys Basketball: Jamestown 66, Bunceton 52

PILOT GROVE, Mo. - The Jamestown Eagles opened the Class 1 District 9 Tournament with a 66-52 win Wednesday against the Bunceton Dragons.

Jamestown dominated the first half, leading 24-9 after one quarter and 43-24 at halftime. The Eagles continued to hold a 55-36 advantage through three quarters.

Clark Rohrbach scored a team-high 27 points to lead the Eagles. Christian Snyder finished with 16 points and Cole Higgins added 14 points.

Jamestown (13-12), the No. 3 seed, will play second-seeded Prairie Home at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the semifinals.

The two teams split their regular-season matchups, with Jamestown winning 50-45 at home and Prairie Home winning 57-53 last week at home.
