Prep Baseball: Vienna 13, Owensville 5

OWENSVILLE, Mo. - The Vienna Eagles won their fourth straight game Monday, defeating the Owensville Dutchmen 13-5.

Vienna never trailed, scoring nine runs in the top of the first inning. The Eagles added four more runs in the third.

Vienna finished with 13 hits, led by Sutton Hauck's performance at the plate. Hauck went 3-for-3 with an RBI.

McCrae Fuller and Logan Agan each had two hits and three RBI, while Timmy Schwartze had two hits and an RBI. Nathan Kleffner finished with two RBI and Dylan Buschmann scored two runs.

Fuller was the winning pitcher. In three innings of relief, he allowed one run on one hit and struck out one. Agan pitched 2 innings of hitless relief and struck out six, while Gavin Stricklan pitched the seventh inning and gave up one hit.

Vienna (16-5), ranked No. 7 in Class 2, plays Thursday at Class 3 No. 6 South Callaway.
