HALLSVILLE, Mo. — The Blair Oaks Falcons dropped to 0-3 in Tri-County Conference play Monday, as they lost 7-6 in eight innings to the Hallsville Indians.
Blair Oaks led 5-1 after two innings, but Hallsville scored four runs in the bottom of the third to tie the game. Eight errors by the Falcons led to only one earned run for the Indians.
Reid Dudenhoeffer had two hits for Blair Oaks, including an RBI double in the top of the seventh inning that tied the game at 6. Jacob Stegeman was thrown out attempting to score the go-ahead run on the play.
David Dell also had a two-run triple for the Falcons.
Cade Stockman took the loss on the mound. In 3 innings of relief, he yielded no earned runs on four hits and struck out two.
Blair Oaks (10-10), ranked No. 3 in Class 3, plays today against Helias at the American Legion Post 5 Sports Complex. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m.
