Prep Baseball: Russellville 12, Osage 2

RUSSELLVILLE - The Russellville Indians used a seven-run fourth inning Monday to cruise past the School of the Osage Indians for a 12-2 win.

Austin Roe pitched all five innings to earn the win for Russellville. He gave up two runs on five hits with two walks and three strikeouts.

Matt Miller led the hitting attack for the Russellville, going 3-for-3 with three singles and four RBI. Riley Marcum also had two singles and two RBI, and Braden Hickey and Landon Plochberger each had two RBI.

Trey Rassenfoss hit a solo home run for Osage, which finished with five hits.

Russellville (11-7), ranked No. 5 in Class 2, plays Thursday at Class 1 No. 4 St. Elizabeth.

Osage (7-6) plays Thursday at Macks Creek.
