SEDALIA - The Jefferson City Jays came away Monday with a 7-2 dual win against district foe Sedalia Smith-Cotton.
Josh Wilde and Alec Krumm won 8-3 in doubles, while Atul Krishnadas and Ben Folz also won 8-0. Trent Kempker and Darby Hall dropped their doubles match 6-8.
Winning in singles for the Jays were Wilde (8-0), Krishnadas (8-4), Folz (8-1), Krumm (8-3) and Kempker (8-6). Kyle Yungbluth dropped his singles match 6-8.
The Jays lost the JV match 5-3.
Jefferson City (5-3) plays Wednesday at Marshall.
