Prep Softball: South Callaway 10, St. Elizabeth 0

ST. ELIZABETH - The South Callaway Lady Bulldogs defeated the St. Elizabeth Lady Hornets 10-0 in six innings Thursday.

Maddie Wilde threw all six innings, gave up three earned runs and struck out two for St. Elizabeth. At the plate, Jordan Plassmeyer hit 1-for-2 and Paige Struemph and Tasia Green were both 1-for-3.

St. Elizabeth (3-9) hosts Crocker on Thursday.

In JV play, the Lady Hornets won 9-6 in four innings. Shelby Oligschlaeger and Elizabeth Struemph were both 2-for-2 and Molly Kemna threw all four innings, striking out five and giving up two earned runs.

Eugene 11, New Bloomfield 0

EUGENE - The Eugene Lady Eagles defeated the New Bloomfield Lady Wildcats 11-0 in five innings Thursday.

Paige Rademann pitched a two-hitter with seven strikeouts to pick up the win for Eugene (10-2).

Jodi Polly tripled twice and was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and four driven in. Hannah Rader was 1-for-2 with a run and a two-RBI single, Leah Schulte doubled and was 2-for-2 with two runs scored and two RBI, and Rademann walked once and drove in two runs. Whitley Wilson added two hits and scored twice, and Taylor Luebbering scored three times.

New Bloomfield (6-6) plays in the AA Tournament's Russellville Pool at 9 a.m. Saturday against Russellville and at 10:45 a.m. against Fulton.

On Saturday, The Lady Eagles will host Southern Boone at 9 a.m. and West County at 12:30 p.m. in the Eugene Pool of the AA Tournament.

The Lady Wildcats won the JV game 6-3 to put Eugene's record at 6-2. Maggie Stieferman doubled and drove in two runs as the Lady Eagles collected four hits in the loss.
