MACKS CREEK, Mo. - Calvary Lutheran collected 11 hits and Abbie Klatt threw a two-hitter as the Lady Lions defeated Macks Creek 16-1 in five innings Tuesday.
Klatt and Presley Welch each had three hits. Welch drove in three runs while Klatt had two RBI. Samantha Matthews tied for a team-high three RBI with a hit, Sydney Duenckel had a hit and two RBI, Clare Hart finished with a hit and an RBI and Carlie Rieber added two hits.
Klatt got the win in the pitcher's circle, striking out two and walking none in five innings.
Calvary Lutheran (7-2) plays Saturday against Warrenton and Hannibal in Warrenton.
