The Lady Crusaders nearly took down the Lady Irish at Crusader Athletic Complex Tuesday but ended up just short.
Catherine Conley and Mya Bremer won in doubles 8-4, and Summer Kolb and Sage Bentlage won 8-6, while Martina Lorang and Jessica Cowley lost 2-8.
Bremer (8-5) and Kolb (8-3) won in singles play, while Conley (0-8), Lorang (2-8), Cowley (3-8) and Carley Drinkard (2-8) lost.
Helias (7-4) hosts Rolla on Thursday for Senior Night. Seniors will honored at 3:45 p.m., and the match will start at 4:30 p.m.
The Lady Crusaders lost the JV match 9-3.
