Blair Oaks football remains at No. 2 in Class 2 rankings

The Blair Oaks Falcons remain No. 2 in Class 2 in the Missouri Media Football Rankings released Monday night.

Blair Oaks (4-0) received 107 points in the rankings by 12 voting members from around the state. The Falcons, who defeated the Versailles Tigers 37-0 on Friday night, will travel to Eldon for another Tri-County Conference contest this week.

Eldon (3-1) fell out of the Class 3 rankings this week after falling 39-6 at Southern Boone. The Mustangs received one 10th-place vote.

The Helias Crusaders (2-2) fell out of the Class 4 rankings after falling 61-35 to the Cardinal Ritter Lions on Friday night in St. Louis. Helias also received one 10th-place vote this week.

Five of the No. 1 teams in the six classes are unanimous selections C.B.C. in Class 6, Staley in Class 5, Webb City in Class 4, Lamar in Class 2 and Westran in Class 1. Odessa and Trinity both received six first-place votes in Class 2, with Odessa finishing with a 112-109 edge in voting points.
