Cross Country: Calvary teams 10th at Centralia

CENTRALIA, Mo. - The Calvary Lutheran boys and girls cross country teams each finished 10th in the Centralia Invitational on Tuesday.

Father Tolton swept the team titles. The boys won with 90 points with Clark County taking second with 92 points. The Lions tallied 229 points.

The Father Tolton girls finished with 49 points to beat out Centralia's total of 78. The Lady Lions had 222 points.

Emma Homfeldt paced the Calvary girls with a 13th-place finish in 22:50.18. Baileigh Morris placed 61st (27:55.22), Rebecca Schatte was 71st (28:53.46), Chloe Baker took 73rd (29:06.92), Jordyn Mays finished 76th (29:25.57) and Bailey Barg was 88th (32:11.84).

Leading the way for the Calvary boys was Grant Going in 10th place with a time of 19:06.02. Cole Going finished 32nd (20:24.60), Isaiah Barg was 37th (20:32.63), Reece Going took 74th (21:50.62), Josh Thieme finished 108th (23:40.72), Lars Marion placed 114th (24:01.11), Colin Larkins was 123rd (24:50.32) and Brendan Larkins finished 130th (25:36.41).

Calvary Lutheran will wrap up the regular season Oct. 19 in the Bowling Green Invitational.
