Boys Basketball: Missouri Homeschool finishes 23-16

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Missouri Homeschool Mavericks capped their season Friday with a runner-up finish in Division III 7A at the National Homeschool Tournament.

The Mavericks began the tournament Tuesday with a 69-26 victory against Hattiesburg, Miss.

Noah Hasklamp led the Mavericks with 12 points, and Chris Willouer and Hasadiah Miner each scored 10.

On Wednesday, Missouri Homeschool defeated Christian Home Educators (Sulphur Springs, Texas) 45-27.

Willouer scored a game-high 13 points for the Mavericks.

The Mavericks dropped their final two games of the tournament, a 59-39 defeat against Lapeer, Mich. on Thursday and a 75-36 loss against the SWCHA Saints (Wisconsin, Wis.) on Friday.

Haskamp led the Mavericks with 18 points in Thursday's games. Miner led Missouri Homeschool with 14 points Friday.

Missouri Homeschool ends its season with a 23-16 record.
