CHAMOIS, Mo. - The Eugene Eagles exploded for 29 points in the fourth quarter, defeating the Chamois Pirates 54-51 on Tuesday in Show-Me Conference play.
The loss snapped an eight-game win streak for the Pirates.
Chamois led 10-8 after one quarter and 21-19 at halftime, but the Pirates opened up their lead through three quarters, holding the Eagles to 25 points entering the fourth quarter.
Aaron Brandt led the Pirates with 26 points.
Chamois (9-3, 2-1 Show-Me) hosts Tuscumbia on Friday. Eugene (11-3, 2-0 Show-Me) plays Friday at Linn.
