WINDSOR - The Tipton Lady Cardinals will play for a district title after defeating Smithton 56-40 on Thursday in the Class 2 District 14 Tournament semifinals.
Brooklynn Pace paced Tipton with 23 points and eight rebounds, and Abby Backes finished with 11 points, seven assists and six rebounds.
Tipton (16-9) will take on Sacred Heart at 6 p.m. Saturday in the tournament championship game.
